Tunnels (Armitage Fire)

Armitage Fire have undertaken the construction, commissioning and maintenance of tunnel fire life safety systems in two of Auckland’s road tunnels – Johnstone’s Hill and Victoria Park. Armitage Fire assisted the Auckland Motorway Alliance (AMA) in the commissioning and compliance certification of the Victoria Park Tunnel following the original constructor’s liquidation and have completed service and planned maintenance for both the AMA and its successor ASM across both tunnel sites and supporting buildings. Armitage Fire has had responsibility for linear heat detection systems, fire alarm panels, deluge equipment, fire hydrants, pumps, sprinklers, gas and foam suppression, smoke and hydrocarbon detection.
